An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Operations Manager to work within the Temporary Staffing Service at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
The Operations Manager will provide strong leadership within the in-house temporary staffing team and wider service stakeholders in order to ensure continuous improvement and a proactive response to service demands on Temporary Staffing. It is a challenging yet rewarding role which provides exposure across the whole of Trust, working closely with managers in a senior role which makes a significant contribution to the development and sustainability of the Trust and its temporary workforce.
Main duties of the job
The Operations Manager will be responsible for the delivery of professional, responsive and customer focused temporary staffing operations and will ensure that the team meets Trust targets, quality standards and controls in accordance with Service Level Agreements and Trust policies and protocols . The post holder will be the lead for the effective provision of the temporary staffing operational service.
The Operations Manager will have full line management responsibility for a team of Temporary Staffing Co-ordinators and Team Leaders and will ensure that their performance, technical skills, and professional development is supported in line with the needs of the service.
The Operations Manager will also support the Head of Temporary Staffing to improve efficiencies through innovation and will contribute to the development and growth of the service and creation of a centre of excellence.
