If so, this could be the role for you. We are now looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Head Office team. This role will report into the Brand Controller and is offered on a local full-time permanent contract.
At COS we are quickly evolving and to speed up our transformation we are looking for a sharp, inspiring and engaging analyst that can build tools and support our business intelligence goals with our customer at the heart of what we do.
As a Business Analyst at COS, you will support in driving our strategic direction using insights from data and analysis while being a key decision partner to the Brand Controller. You will work cross functionally with our controlling teams and lead on building the necessary capabilities within business intelligence and analytics infrastructure for the brand. You will confidently take responsibility, make decisions, and drive actions forward to achieve our ambitious goals.
In this role you will strive to challenge your analytical skillset by solving complex problems and by making ill-defined questions simple and concrete, this is what the core of this role is.
What you will do:
Lead the work in building the reporting and analysis capabilities for COS
Develop dashboards and visual tools to be used by key departments such as Sales team, Controlling, Merchandising, Buying & Assortment, Marketing, Expansion and Growth teams.
Build simulation tools for strategic and financial planning
Create compelling visualisations of data to enable data driven business decisions
Collaborate with Business Intelligence teams within the H&M Group
Proactively seek out and identify untapped opportunities and unmitigated risks
Drive improvements in analytic methods and tools
Superuser and tutor of the controlling team to educate, support and guide on Power BI, Excel cubes and other tools for analysis purposes
Drive cross functional workshops to ensure end to end improvements
Make sure best practice and lessons learned are shared within the department
Provide analysis support and enable data driven business decision making
Drive continuous development by communicating and prioritizing business requirements to the development team
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong business sense to quickly understand the challenges of varied stakeholders and the ability to turn insights and analysis into something understandable. You will be passionate, results driven, a team player that takes responsibility and drives goals forward.
Significant experience in business analysis, data science or in a related field in a data driven organisation
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Data analysis and visualisation using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is essential
Comfortable with data querying using SQL
Process modelling skills and experience
Outstanding time management and accurate planning
Ability to influence stakeholders on business plans and make collaborative decisions
Strong knowledge on creating detailed reports and error free presentations
Familiarity with a coding language is a plus
