This role entails…
To ensure an optimal and accurate schedule is produced and delivered to transmission – incorporating the programme strategy, break pattern, media plan and sponsorship plan.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills:

● Constant attention to detail and the ability to pre-empt and proactively solve problems
● Good standard of Maths and English
● Computer literate and keen to use new technology

The Key role criteria is as follows:
Populating and optimising daily transmission schedules according to guidelines. This involves entering programme schedules and changes into our scheduling system to ensure sufficient information is available for press, schedule costing, audience evaluation, Ofcom forecasting and compliance.
Ensuring the correct programme and version is linked in the schedule from the Programme Library.
Ensuring the schedule meets all regulatory requirements.
Taking responsibility for building and optimising the schedules at the appropriate time.
Preparation of advanced information regarding live/ late programming and hand-overs between channels (brand extension shows).
Working closely with Strategy and liaising with various other departments to ensure all strategic aims are met and potential issues are resolved (Marketing, Media Planning, Delivery, Compliance).
This is a starter role in the department. You will need to be highly motivated, hard working, positive, conscientious and be keen to learn new skills. We will be looking for candidates who are able to demonstrate a genuine interest and desire to work in broadcast scheduling.
