ITV Studios Daytime creates over seven and a half hours of live TV every day. With programmes on air from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. there’s a constant buzz!
The ITV Studios Daytime slate is filled with Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women. The Daytime market is highly competitive and vitally important for both ITV Studios and our network. Most of these programmes run fifty-two weeks a year and are critical to our share of the viewing figures. Daytime hands the ratings baton over to peak. All of our big brand programmes have recently been refreshed with a modern on-screen look to meet high editorial aspirations so it’s an exciting time to be part of our team. We bring our viewers the latest breaking news, biggest entertainment stories and exclusives.
For this role you will be responsible for operating a camera in a live studio environment, and at times on location. You will work closely with the operational and editorial teams to help ensure the smooth running of all our shows. We are seeking a camera operator who is aware of all technical aspects relating to cameras and is someone who will look for ways of improving operational skills and assist with studio and location camera rigs.
In this role you would work effectively with the studio operations team, Head of Cameras and Programme Directors to deliver what is best for the shows.
The successful applicant will have previous experience and a good understanding of all operational and technical aspects of studios cameras. Knowledge of Sony HD Studio cameras, Fujinon lenses and prompt systems is essential. You will require an awareness of relevant health and safety legislation, policies and practices. You must have the ability to work under pressure, be flexible, and undertake a variety of tasks. You will also possess excellent communication skills.
