ITV’s ‘This Morning’ are looking for a new dynamic and highly experienced Line Producer to join the team.
Our show covers all types of telly from live studio, outside broadcasts, international filming, stunts, animals on set, live performances… even building ice rinks for our Christmas special!! So we are looking for a candidate who has extensive experience preferably within a live studio environment. You will also have an energetic and flexible approach to your work. You will be solution focussed, adaptable and confident in managing difficult and challenging situations in a fast moving environment. You will partner with the Editor and senior editorial team to lead the show in delivering outstanding, distinctive, multi platform and commercially successful topical content within operational, financial and legal constraints. You will be responsible for a large production budget and production management team and have the confidence and experience to effectively manage upwards and draw on a range of strategies and styles to persuade, challenge and influence a wide range of both creative and resource staff.
Please note that due to Live production time, you may be required to work unsociable hours (early starts).
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following:
4-5 years experience at senior production manager level with experience of working across a range of genres or scale and complexity
Thorough approach to completing tasks with good verbal and written communications skills
Demonstrates proven financial acumen with a solution-focussed approach to achieving editorial ambition within budget
Extensive knowledge of a range of technologies/workflows/ways of working
Confidence to manage upwards effectively and draw on a range of strategies and styles to constructively persuade, challenge and influence others
Confident leader with the ability to motivate and develop teams giving clear sense of direction and drawing on strengths of individuals to achieve best results
Experience and ability to manage the range and number of personalities that work on the large shows where challenges are abound and deadlines are tight
Demonstrates energy and resilience and ability to maintain performance in face of ever-changing priorities and workload
Ability to manage and mitigate unforeseen events and advise production teams on best course of action
