About the role

The Peak Fitness Club and Spa at The Carlton Tower Jumeirah will offer hotel guests and club members world class treatments, wellness and fitness classes such as Yoga and Pilates with breath-taking views over London’s iconic skyline.

As Club & Spa attendant, you will facilitate the day-to-day operations of spa, fitness and changing facilities. You will conduct regular cleaning and maintenance and take charge of inventory, tracking supplies, cleaning, stocking towels and supporting members and hotel guests. Alongside these tasks, you may need to take on administrative duties such as manning the front desk and preparing treatment rooms. Good customer service must always be given with the end goal of crafting a positive, rewarding spa/gym experience that satisfies members & hotel guests. As Club & Spa attendant, your main duties will include;

To welcome every member and hotel guest with a smile and strive to provide a friendly and efficient service.
To ensure all lockers are in working order with keys at all times.
To ensure towels are available to use at all times at both The Peak and Pool.
To be fully conversant with all Facilities and Services offered in the Health Club.
To ensure the changing rooms are kept clean and tidy to the highest possible standards at all times in both the Peak and Pool.
To help carry out regular stock takes on a monthly basis if required.
To ensure sufficient bathroom and stationery supplies are available at all times in both the Pool and The Peak.
To cover either of Peaks Reception Desk if required.
To ensure first aid box is replenished with security department.
To replenish bathroom and cleaning supplies as and when required.
To ensure any lost property is sent to Security immediately and recorded.
To be fully aware of all Health Club prices, promotions and other facilities and services available and be able to conduct a site inspection when required.
To ensure rules and regulations of the swimming pool adhere to and whenever necessary to confront members who may cause danger to others.
About you

The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:

Have experience in a similar position within a luxury 5 star environment
Have a passion for your work and the ability to innovate, with a proven track record within luxury environments
Have the ability to operate in a diverse and luxury environment with a focus on guest experience
Be a self-motivator and someone who is ready to challenge in the interest of continuous improvement
Excellent level of English
Be friendly, approachable and professional
Have a high degree of knowledge in Food Hygiene and Safe Working Practice
