Description: We are looking for a Sales Coordinator to join our sales team in the UK. The role will report in to our National Sales Manager.

Role Purpose:
Supports the National Sales Manager (NSM) in the management of all retailers ensuring the achievement in net sales target and retail sales reporting.
Main Tasks:
Order Processing-
o Responsible for the manual order processing of retailer orders. Works closely with the logistics and supply chain manager to ensure these are done accurately and on time. (NSV/FOC).
o Agreement of the return from the retailer and the end creation of the credit note. Ensuring the process is completed. The process will start with the Sales Coordinator and then handed over to the Logistics and Supply Chain Manager for the physical return.
o Responsible for the allocation and staff purchase process. (Email, collection of orders etc with SC but once the order has been transmitted with the SCLM).
Retailer interface and communication- Responsible for communication with the relevant retailers with regards to stock integrity and stock holding, agreement of stock order intake and management of returns to ensure net sales targets are achieved. Aware of the key developments within the retailers to understand any risks and opportunities of the business and communicate them internally.
o Communication with the retailer on order status and issue management.
o Price & Product queries from the retailers.
o New launch information and allocations to retailers.
o Out of stock communication (Between LP to retailer).
o On counter dates.
Internal Interface and communication-
o Marketing-Works closely with the marketing team to optimize the consumer interface with La Prairie and ensure that our brand is effectively represented in the channel/distribution point.
o Working with Marketing to ensure launch dates are met, directing retailer queries to marketing if needed.
o Work closely with Marketing to ensure there is an awareness of key marketing activities, so that any support for the stores can be met.
o Field- Understand that challenges at point of purchase to identify a plan and communicate this with the retailer. E.g. out of stocks, event related stock, retailer distribution challenges i.e. warehousing. Ensures KPI’s are regularly measured and reported and remuneration as a result is created.
o Communication to the field about the incoming stock and any challenges they may face.
o Creation of the business plans per counter.
o Amendments to targets where necessary.
o Share important historical counter information to help the AM’s plan their business.
o Paperwork needed for the counter to be created and sent.
Data Insights- Uses internal/external tools to provide the NSM with necessary insight to help make key business decisions.
Presentations- Supports the NSM in all retailer/internal communications regarding sales.
Projects- Supports the NSM with key projects affecting the UK affiliate i.e. Brexit, commission, KPI’s.
Forecasting-
o Net Sales- Responsible for providing input in to the NSM of an accurate net sales forecast by retailer/store, by month based on retail objectives/actuals.
o Product Forecasting- Supports Logistics and Supply Chain Manager with the net sales forecast, turning the data in to the product phasing.
o Retail Sales- In conjunction with all areas of Sales/Retail/Supply Chain provides input in to the NSM for the monthly retails sales forecast. Feeding into our reporting to Global/Regional, allowing a plan to be identified and implemented for net sales accuracy.
o Non-Saleable- Through liaison with the Logistics & Supply Chain Manager, manages the non-saleable items and effectively plans the distribution of these items across the stores.
o New Launch Forecasting- Supports the Logistics and Supply Chain Manager with the forecasting for new launches.
Adhoc requests & reporting- Supports the Sales team with all adhoc requests and reporting. Gathers insight and data and prepares for sales presentations.
What type of person are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is of graduate level and already has some expereince working in a similar role. It is really important that this person has great analytical and attention to detail skills. they must also be good at communicating, be a proactive team-player with a high level of reliability and integrity, good at building a quick rapport with people.
Computer Skills are also important for the position and ideally the ideal canddiate will have: Good Excel and PowerPoint skills. Good at using Microsoft Office, Good experience with SAP modules (FI/CO/SD)/Good at picking up systems.
