Leonardo MW is looking to recruit a Senior Support Engineer based at RAF Coningsby. The successful candidates will be working in the Avionics Regional Centre, whose primary objective is to Service and Repair aircraft Line Replaceable Items (LRI) for a customer within a defence organisation. The successful candidate must have a strong all-round technical ability with a working knowledge of Aircraft Radar, DASS and Avionics equipment and systems.
What you will do
Your Key Responsibility are to :-
Carry out Standard Serviceability Testing, Fault finding and repair on RADAR, DASS and Avionics equipment.
Carry out routine calibration, general maintenance on Automatic Test equipment.
Complete other tasks within the ARC on the direction of the ARC management.
Daily liaison with the ARC Manager, Bay lead and Maintenance Planner working with BAE Systems teams as required understanding priorities for repair activities.
Provide support to the management of the UK aspect of the Spares supply system and consumables, immediately highlighting any deficiencies to ARC Manager, Bay lead and Maintenance Planner.
Meet all the contractual and local requirements associated with Governance, SHE, Training and general good engineering practices.
Adhere to the documented methods of work as defined by the Leonardo, JAS Contract and Coningsby ARC Manager.
Identification and reporting of risks and opportunities for the business its operations and support to subsequent activities.
Provide support drafting and compliance of MAOS Approved documentation.
To adhere to approved procedures and governance using Technical data within a MAA Pt145 approved setting.
