Job Description: Our Buying Managers are responsible for creating, managing, and executing a product strategy that delivers sales and profit growth across all channels including OB, Liberty brand and Concession. Ensuring Liberty has the most unique, commercial and press worthy edit of product, this role works closely with merchandising, E-commerce, customer insight and retail to ensure the product range is appropriate for the target market and retail space, whilst negotiating the best terms for Liberty. [ads1] Job Responsibilities: • Responsible for negotiating all commercial terms across OB and Concession within the framework set buy the head of buying. • Responsible for creating, managing, and executing a product strategy by division ensuring each department and business model retail aligns to the overall product strategy of the business unit and delivers against company financial objectives. • Working closely with merchandising, retail, customer insight, ecommerce, and marketing to ensure division has the most unique, commercial and press worthy brands and products which deliver sales and margin targets. • Lead, manage and coach buying team and influence cross functionally to ensure business objectives are met and that assistant buyers and administrators have regular catch ups and development plans. • Oversee Liberty brand and OB OTB process within the buying team ensuring adequate budget for new, exclusive and growth whilst managing risk in declining business. • Drive full price sales and sell thru targets through management of in-season trading to hit sales and margin targets.
