THE ROLE
As M&E Operations Manager you will be responsible for the operational running and execution of all Nobu events, meetings, and banquets. Your tasks will include but will not be limited to:
Oversee the smooth operational running of all events, meetings, and banquets.
Have a complete understanding of budget, forecasts, and P&L for your department.
Completing the rota for your team on time taking into account any agency usage and labour costs.
Responsible for all function sheets in order to understand the needs and requirements of the guests as soon as possible.
Proactively come up with suggestions to enhance all events and ensure their success.
Proactively seek out new suppliers and equipment to ensure the events we deliver are innovative whilst being cost effective.
To liaise closely with the F&D Director, Director of Events, and Executive Chef on a regular basis during the lead up to an event, to ensure the smooth operational running of the event on the day.
Planning event from start to finish according to requirements to ensure we meet and exceed guest expectation in regards to any group or event booking.
To offer strong leadership, mentoring, and guidance to your team.
To be an ambassador for Nobu as well as a strong leader who embodies our values and commitment to our teams.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years experience in a Management role within Meeting and Events.
1 year experience within a 5* Hotel.
Previous experience with Delphi and MICROS.
