Insight Manager – Digital Product
– 4 Month Fixed Term Contract (210005TV)

This is a core part of the Business Partners team within the Insight team, working to create, collate and compile complex and varied sources of data and research in order to inform key business decisions from a customer perspective. It is responsible for working with senior stakeholders as a business partner, ensuring that the customer is at the heart of our decision making.
This role will be the key point of contact for the relevant stakeholders & their leadership team within the Insight team. This role will work closely with these senior stakeholders to understand the priorities of t/he department / division / categories and manage projects to help bring a customer perspective to key decisions. In addition, the role will proactively share relevant insight from across the wider insight team with the leadership team of the department / division / categories.
What you need to do
This role will play an important role in the Business Partners and wider Insight teams, combining our existing tools and sources of data with additional quantitative and qualitative primary research to bring a customer perspective to key business decisions.
Being the key point of contact for the relevant director/ SM & their leadership team within the Insight team, you will work with stakeholders in the business area proactively to understand their needs and priorities and work out the best way to fulfil these. As stakeholder needs arise, you’ll work out the best way to fulfil these from across the Insights colleagues embedded in that function or drawing on existing projects within the wider insight team.
On a project by project basis, you’ll work out who else is a relevant stakeholder beyond the core and bring them on board and keep them engaged, understand the key strategic priorities for the division.
Break down large and/ or vague questions into a clear and focused brief, and deliver on this brief using both agency and internal resource as needed.
Encourage the use of customer insight across the teams within the department / division by training and embed self-service tools (e.g. Aimia Self-Serve, Nielsen Insight Studio) into the relevant teams. Be the gateway to, and a champion of, CSAT data: support the business function by providing it to them in the most useful way for their needs, and helping in the interpretation of it.

Understand, challenge and analyse data, whilst stepping back to bring clarity to decisions
Understand how to bring together varied sources of first and third party data, working closely with a variety of agencies
Specifically, for the Business Partner role, you need to build a strong network across your business partner area and the wider insight team and prioritise regularly & ruthlessly when presented with more “asks” than you can support.
